David Feng: Travelling the World Over
I’m constantly on the go. I’ve been to over 250 cities in 24 countries and territories. That’s nowhere near my goal of any kind. The world is ours and everyone’s to explore in greater depth — cultures and communities “come to life” from textbooks and storybooks the moment we enter someone else’s part of the planet.
I’ve been both major metropolises, such as London, Beijing, New York, Berlin, Zürich, Singapore, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, and Sydney, but also minor town and little-known enclaves. It’s this huge diversity of places I’ve been to that make it interesting. Wherever possible, I travel by train, or across vaster distances, by plane.

David’s Destinations
My first international trip was at age 6. That was just what was needed to keep me curious about places I haven’t been to, even nearly 30 years after that first flight.
I’ve been to towns, cities, and metropolises in Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia. They include major players such as London, Beijing, New York, and Zürich, but also more “natural” places, such as the Loire Valley, the scenic parts of southern China in Guangxi, and the Alps.

David’s Rail Travels
“I love trains”: I didn’t say that, the Beijing Daily did! Switzerland got me in Railway Mode, it caught on big-time in China, and I’m still mobile on the rails here in London. Travelling by trains gets you into the communities far more than merely cruising by in a car. I’ve travelled on railways in 15 countries and territories.
