Important: This form is not to be filled in by a citizen of the People’s Republic of China who has household registration (hukou) on the mainland, or is a mainland citizen settled outside of the mainland (and holds a passport issued by the mainland of the PRC). Under relevant regulations, you must fill in the form on David Feng’s Chinese WeChat account instead.
If you hold a Resident Identity Card issued by a Chinese Mainland authority but are still a registered (permanent) resident (especially by way of household registration) of Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan (ie your card starts with 81, 82, or 83), and do not as yet possess Mainland Chinese household registration status, you may continue to fill in this form.
If you hold a one-way permit from the mainland to Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan, or a Chinese Travel Document, you may fill in this form.
